WHAT EXACTLY IS BASE CAMP?
If you’ve ever served in the military, you understand that taking the UCMJ oath of commitment marks the transition from civilian life to the transformative journey of becoming a soldier. This change begins when you’re shipped off to a new destination to start your military training and life.
Similarly, at TMF, this transformation begins when you move from being a Free Visitor to fully committing by completing your registration. Once registered, you can download the Community App, granting you access to the active-duty world of BASE CAMP, where your journey truly begins.
ADWEL: ACTIVE DUTY WARRIOR ENTRY LEVEL
At this stage of BASE CAMP, every man has the option to choose which level of warrior he will enter TMF service. There are three (3) levels of service to choose from:
HOW DO WARRIOR’S EARN POINTS?
TMF Warriors can earn points to unlock free TMF swag, including apparel, dog tags, bracelets, emblems, awards, books, and more, all available in the TMF Swag Store. Points can also be used to pay for events and rallies.
The points program is managed and tracked through the TMF Base Camp App.
- Swag Store and Events: 5 points per $1 spent – points are earned for merchandise and events that are managed by TMF.
- Referral: 500 points – When a warrior refers a friend to join TMF, they will receive 500 points once the referred recruit pays for his first month.
- TMF Post or Review: 100 points – earned once approved by staff and posted to TMF social media.
- Active Membership Oversight by Rank: 1 point per member – Earn 1 point for the Platoon Sortie (PS) attendance of each warrior under your leadership. Must scan QR code.
THREE-MONTH SNAPSHOT OF EARNED POINTS
The following example shows how a TMF Sergeant could earn reward points during a three-month period:
- Oversight attendance: A sergeant has 10 men in his platoon, and they all attend the next 12 weekly platoon sorties (scanned QR codes) 12X10 = 120 points
- Referrals: sergeant refers six civilians in three months, and they join TMF = 3,000 points
- Posts & Reviews: sergeant offers six reviews and four get posted – 400 points
- TMF Swag: sergeant spends $300 on merchandise for TMF brothers = 1,500 points
- Total points earned in three months = 5,020 points
